About

Three Point Consulting was founded by three colleagues who met while working inside a higher education institution. Each came from a different corner of the business: different training, different roles, different ways of solving a problem. Learning from their experience, they wanted to build something of their own, that difference was the point.

Three perspectives, one approach

Three points define a triangle, one of the strongest and most enduring shapes there is. It holds its form under pressure because no single point carries the weight alone. That’s the model behind the firm’s name and the way it works. Every engagement offers three perspectives and three ways of thinking through a problem, not a single consultant’s lens. The result is a solution built from more angles, not just a faster answer.

Why enterprise risk management

Businesses and higher education are moving toward addressing strategic priorities through an enterprise risk lens, one that connects marketing, enrollment, facilities, and operations as parts of a single system rather than separate departments solving separate problems. Most organizations know this shift is coming, but haven’t figured out how to act on it. That’s the gap Three Point Consulting works in: helping organizations see how their strategic initiatives connect across the enterprise, and building solutions that hold up because they account for the whole picture, not just one piece of it.

That’s the work: three founders, three backgrounds, one structure built to last.
